North Shields 800

In celebration of North Shields’ 800th anniversary, we were invited to help shape a new cultural legacy for the town; transforming its historic fishing village roots into a canvas for creativity.

Having seen the power of street art to revitalise cities from Detroit to Miami, Williamsburg to Margate, we brought that same energy home.

​

We launched with Siren, a flagship mural designed as a proof of concept for what the festival could achieve. The image was later released as a 7 colour, collectible print, raising community funds to establish Elevation Walls, a charity created to bring both national and international artists to North Shields.
