The Lofts

In 2022, The Lofts, one of Newcastle’s leading nightlife venues, commissioned a large-scale mural project to bring a bold, contemporary edge to its interiors. The project featured acclaimed artists Prefab77 and Mul, both known for their striking visual styles and strong presence in the UK’s street art scene.

Prefab77 contributed his signature blend of graphic precision and cultural commentary, while Mul added his distinctive character-driven work, resulting in a dynamic collaboration that transformed the venue’s atmosphere. The murals not only reflect Newcastle’s vibrant creative energy but also reinforce The Lofts’ reputation as a cultural hub where music, art, and nightlife intersect.
